Aluminium is widely used in the lightweight automotive industry for its high strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and excellent formability and machinability，which can reduce vehicle weight, lower energy consumption, and decrease emissions.

1xxx series aluminium alloy::It is a commercially pure aluminium with excellent corrosion resistance and high formability. And is commonly used to produce sheet metal parts, such as heat shield and license plate.common alloy is 1050 and 1060. Additionally,1xxx aluminium foil are also widely used to EV battery cores.

2xxx series aluminium alloy: It has good strength and wear resistance and is commonly used for manufacturing automotive engine and transmission components.

3xxx series aluminium alloy: It has good thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance. And is commonly used to manufacture automotive heat exchangers, such as radiator cores, intercoolers, ,and condensers, Additionally, 3xxx alloy is widely used by EV battery casings with the development of EV industry. Particularly 3003,3004,3105.

5xxx series aluminium alloys: such as 5052, 5182,5083,and 5754, which have high strength, excellent formability, and good corrosion resistance. These alloys are often used in the manufacture of automotive body panels, such hoods, trunk lids,doors, fender,roof and chassis.Additionally,5052 and 5083 alloy is used by produce fuel tanks, and hydraulic oil tanks.

6xxx series aluminium alloys: It has high strength-to-weight ratio, good formability, and excellent corrosion resistance. And These alloys also have good weldability, which is important in the manufacturing process.6xxx series alloy can be used for automotive door and window frames,wheels,suspension systems and other components.Particularly 6016,6061 and 6063, 

7xxx series aluminium alloy: It has extremely high strength and hardness and is commonly used for manufacturing high-performance vehicles such as racing cars and off-road vehicles, for their frames, chassis, and suspension systems.
